At the Friends’ AGM in September 2014, there was a discussion about whether to destock Seven Islands Pond of fish. This was put to a vote at the meeting and there was a fairly clear majority in favour of destocking (i.e. removing fish from the pond). The Friends did a further follow up survey of members, eliciting 21 responses. The positives and negatives were split evenly. Comments were recorded as part of the survey and we have collated these as part of the report here.
We hoped that the Conservators would incorporate these responses into their thinking on this issue.
